Is Great Market Hall still open during covid? I REALLY hope it is!!!! Are there still the dolls availiable for buying there?
The Great Market Hall is open to visitors (mask is compulsory).
If you wish to buy dolls, perhaps you may want to check some other souvenir shops along Vaci street (Vaci utca) connect the market hall with the iconic Vorosmarty square in the heart of the city. Prices may vary as vendors decide their profit range, so it may be worth comparing dolls and prices before you commit to buy one.

Have a lovely stay in Budapest!
Hello. Does anyone know when there will be no 10 day quarantine that people from the U.S going to Hungary will need to take? We are really looking forward to going to Hungary for 2 weeks and that 10 day quarantine will really mess up our first time here and only allow us to have 4 days in Budapest, the wonderful state of the country Hungary. Anyone got any ideas when that will be over? We are dying to come here for 2 weeks!!!
We are really happy to see how attractive you find Hungary. Travel can be such a great experience.
The current situation keeps changing as Hungary keeps negotiating with other countries from all over the world about the mutual acceptance of Covid passports. Although currently the list of accepted countries is quite short, by summer time it may improve. It is not guaranteed that the US and Hungary will have finalised their Covid passport agreements by July; if there is no official outcome yet, unfortunately, the current regulation makes the quarantine compulsory to keep the spread of Corona virus at bay. This is the protocol in most countries in Europe I’m afraid, for the very same reason. Once there are Covid immunity cards, which are internationally accepted, they will most probably enable tourists to travel around with no quarantine (assuming incoming tourists are symptom free). Right now it is hard to predict when that day will come in 2021. Thank you for your kind patience and understanding.
Thank you, I understand
